Mr. Christos Mistris, CEO of Masterfold A.E. was appointed as the new Vice President of ASTA Greece (American Society of Travel Agents) by its Chairman, Mr. Leonidas Babanis.
Mr. Babanis stated: «I am exceptionally happy for this strategic cooperation with Mr. Mistris in ASTA. I am certain that with hard work and dedication in our goals, we will broaden even more our pursuit in the American tourism.»
Mr. Christos Mistris, the new vice president of ASTA Greece was born in Johannesburg, grew up in Crete and he is a Naval Academy graduate. His creativity and his restlessness led to his resignation from the armed forces and he immediately joined Globo Technologies Group as a Sales Manager. In 2002 he took charge of the Commercial Management of Choose Media and after only 3 years he continued his career as Managing Director of ZCard Hellas, member of Vardinogiannis Group Association. In 2011 he takes office as Chief Executive Officer in Masterfold, creating specialized new products for Hotels and the Tourism Market and expanding the company’s collaborations internationally.
In regards Mr. Mistris states: «For me personally I consider this new position and the Chairman’s trust in me as a great honor. Our goal is ASTA to get to know the elite Hotels Businesses of Greece and Cyprus and help the hotels to come to direct contact with the American Market, for which the interest is growing bigger by the time. Greece and Cyprus have very strong hotel product and with Masterfold’s contribution it will be brought forward to its fullest extent. With our collaboration with the Chairman Mr. Babanis and the Vice President of Cyprus Mr. Kelembesis we are joining forces for a combined effort in view of the new tourist season ahead of us.»
