A New Chapter for Buddha-Bar Paris: Luxury,
Sustainability and a Fresh Menu Experience

When you think of Buddha-Bar Paris, you think of magic. A place full of music, atmosphere and incredible energy. Since 1996, this iconic spot in the heart of Paris has been a symbol of luxury dining around the world. With its dark, exotic decor and famous Buddha statue, it created a whole new way of experiencing food. Today, Buddha-Bar is a name known everywhere, from Dubai to New York, always setting the tone for high-end hospitality.

But even legends sometimes need a little refresh.

The Challenge

When we first visited Buddha-Bar Paris, we noticed something: the menu covers didn’t match the rest of the experience. They were made from PU leather, a material that wears out easily and isn’t sustainable. The logos weren’t sharp. The covers stained quickly. They just didn’t feel as luxurious as everything else inside Buddha-Bar.

The team there felt the same. They knew the menus needed an upgrade, something beautiful, durable and sustainable. A menu guests would love to touch and see the brand shine.

They trusted us to find the solution.

The MasterFold Touch

Here’s what we created:

  • Recycled leather, not PU.
    A premium material that feels like real leather but gives a second life to leather scraps. Strong, sustainable and beautiful.
  • Selected colors to match the restaurant’s renovation: deep black, navy blue, rich red.
    Everything perfectly harmonized with Buddha-Bar’s mood.
  • Hard covers with extra-strong 3mm board inside.
    So the menus last longer even with daily use.
  • Golden metal corners, protecting the most fragile parts and adding a touch of elegance.
  • Shiny gold foil logo, made with traditional hot stamping.
    To highlight every detail of the Buddha-Bar identity and sparkle in the dim light.
  • Flexible binding systems:
    • Elastic band in gold for the restaurant menu (easy to add or remove pages).
    • Magnet binding for the wine list (minimal and strong, no extra accessories needed).

Every choice was made to fit Buddha-Bar’s maximal, glamorous and timeless style while respecting modern needs for durability and sustainability.

The Result

The new menu covers arrived in Paris and the difference was instant.
Guests feel it the moment they touch the menu: soft, rich and full of character.

The Buddha-Bar team was thrilled.
Their brand now speaks clearly at every touchpoint: luxury, authenticity, responsibility.
